Cooking Classes
Learn to make delicious Thai cuisine for yourself! All Thai cooking classes are presented by Supenn Harrison, the owner of Sawatdee Thai Restaurants. Plan to get your hands dirty and bring your appetite! Recipes, anecdotes, and cultural information are all part of these enjoyable classes.

Thai cooking classes are held at Sawatdee, 607 Washington Ave. S. The cost per class is $60 per person. Enrollment is limited; call 612-338-6451. Come to class hungry as we will be preparing lots of food.

Thai Meal #1:
In this class, you will learn how to prepare a delicious Thai meal including Fresh Spring Rolls, Egg Rolls, Savory Toam Yum Soup and Stir-Fried Basil with Shrimp or Chicken. In addition, an introduction to Thai spices will be given. This is one class you will not want to miss!

Thai Meal #2:
If you enjoy the unique blend of spices in Thai cooking, we have a class for you! This class will teach you to balance the delicate flavors of sweet, sour, and salty in Papaya salad (Som Tum) and the all time favorite, Pad Thai (the national dish of Thailand). In Addition, you will also learn to make Red Curry. To get the most out of your experience take the Thai 1 class first if you plan to take Thai 2. Do your taste buds a favor and register now!
