Sawatdee Saint Paul was the first Sawatdee which opened in 1983. Located in lowertown, it has been referred to as "the old Sawatdee" since it closed to make way for the new. With a new location on Robert Street in downtown Saint Paul, "the old Sawatdee" is now "the new Sawatdee," offering you a full menu of authentic Thai cuisine that we are famous for plus a full bar.

Parking: 2 hour parking for $5 is available in the lot behind the Rossmor off 9th Street. Park in designated spaces and pay via the app. 

Ramp parking is available for $4 after 4 pm daily (entrance on 7th next to Alary's). Stairwell on 9th to get to Sawatdee easily.

Lunch: Now offering buffet Wed, Thurs & Friday 11am-2pm

 

Happy Hour: Daily from 4-6 PM throughout the restaurant (dine-in only). Discounts on appetizers and drinks.

Catering: Offering full service and simple drop off to greater St Paul. Please contact our Cyndy at cyndy@sawatdee.com. For orders within 48 hours, please contact the restaurant directly.

 

Parties: We offer two semi-private party spaces.

- LOFT: This 2nd floor space overlooks the main restaurant, holds up to 20 guests, and is available any day of the week. Non-refundable room fee/deposit: $25. Food and beverage minimum: $200. Split checks allowed.

- B SIDE: One side of the restaurant can be booked for private functions Sunday-Thursday. This space holds up to 40 guests. Non-refundable room fee/deposit: $40. Food and beverage minimum: $350. No split checks.
